The Weight of My Expectations Puffer Tote Bag - Lilac

I really liked the design of this bag. The images are accurate and there are some great features like the handy outside zip pocket for easy access. The material is really soft.

The reason I have given four stars is that the internal pockets are very floppy and not very deep which means things tend to fall out of them. This makes the internal pockets of the bag less useful because if you are carrying anything solid like tap shoes or water bottles they flop out when you pack the bag or carry things around.

However, overall I am really happy with my purchase.

Soft, roomy, and sturdy. I started using this bag for a yarn project bag and the pockets are great. I've gotten compliments on this bag already. I have the same bag in black and use it often.

After thinking about it for many weeks I finally got this bag! The lilac color is really dreamy and unique and it does fit all my dance things (I usually pack my 1L Stanley waterbottle, 2 pairs of shoes, and dance jacket/change of clothes if I am competing). Love the nifty little pockets which fit my rubberbands, hairbands, and resistance bands.

My main gripe about this bag is that the exterior material started pilling almost immediately 😅 Also, stains do show up easily on the light fabric, and since it can only be spot-cleaned according to the washing instructions, you do end up having to baby it a fair bit. So if you’re looking for the ideal workhorse dance bag to throw around, this may not be it for you :)

That said, it truly is a lovely and cushiony bag that I would recommend!

Finally got it and all my friends loved it. This puffer tote truly carries the weight of my expectations, my ballet shoes, my half-eaten snack, and my questionable life choices. It's soft enough to cry into between rehearsals, yet sturdy enough to survive being thrown into the studio corner after a particularly savage grand allegro.

Spacious? Yes. Emotionally supportive? Also yes. The name engraved on it says what I’m too tired to: I had dreams. I still do. They're just... heavy.

Would I recommend it? Absolutely. It's the emotional support bag I didn’t know I needed. 10/10, would lug my existential crises in it again. Thank you so much.

I love this bag! It's so cute. It's a good size and well made
