Our leotards are made of compression techfabric and fit true to size/slightly small to size. For a sleek fit, take your usual size. For a more relaxed fit or if you are in between sizes, size up!

If you have broader shoulders or hips, please size up - especially for our long sleeve leotards.

Variant

Our Pearl leotard draws on the rich, luminous textures of pearls and oyster shells. Finished with white mesh sleeves and a delicate pink accent at the collar, it's elegant yet edgy - and most of all, flattering. It may just make you rethink the way you look at white leotards.

My first C&V purchase - 10/10

This Leo looks just as gorgeous if not more so than the pictures! I’m normally UK 10 but sized up and I’m glad I did! Ended up in the XL but found this a better fit for serious hobbyist adult ballet and a mid 30s body shape - especially on the lower half. The pearl design looks really clear in real life and the overall colour way impression is pinks, pearls and turquoises. The fabric is buttery smooth and it’s well constructed. As my first C&V purchase, it’s done it’s job of convincing me that the price and international postage is worth it! My only wish is that stock across the range of Dancewear was better because I’m desperate to buy more but don’t want to do an airmail delivery for each individual item separately from a carbon footprint perspective!

Love it!!!

Love it!!! It is even more beautiful (with lots of subtle colours) than I could tell from the pictures. I especially like the light-weight mesh sleeves, which make it a long-sleeved leotard with the feeling of wearing a sleeveless one.

Stunning and light leotard

I was a bit on the fence about purchasing this leotard because of it's light colour. Don't get me wrong, the colours are lovely (the pearl print is gorgeous), but I'm a larger girl and I suppose I've always been told that you need to wear flattering (i.e. slimming) colours. But let me tell you - this is one of the most flattering leotards I've ever worn. It's comfortable, elegant and beautiful. And most important thing; I feel beautiful wearing it. I love it so much, thank you C&V!

Beautiful!

Absolutely love this leotard!! It's truly stunning. I feel good in it and I never thought I'd say I felt good in a white leotard! Makes me love dancing even more. The mesh neck is so gracefully done and the colors are light and airy - I can't rave about the design enough because its really such a beautiful piece. Thanks C&V for being wonderful and making wonderful leotards like this one!

Divine Intervention

I was admiring this leo for a while, but held back for financial reasons and watched it get sold out. A few months later it went back in stock the day I negotiated a raise, so clearly that was a sign!

As someone who is hesitant about wearing white, this leotard actually makes me feel confident. It is insanely comfortable, flattering, and just overall pretty.

For fitting: I am 5'4", about 140lbs. Bust 34, waist 28, hips 39. I ordered large in line with the size chart and it fits pretty well. I do have a disproportionately long torso and very wide hips so I would have been able to do the XL, but honestly I am happy in the L too. If you are hesitant about sizing I don't think you can go wrong sizing up, the leo is compression so I wouldn't be worried about extra space!
